Burnt Island Lake in Algonquin Provincal Park has continued to be a source of great moose adventures for me. Here is a 45 second clip of a young bull moose having lunch on burnt island lake. I believe we were about 30 feet away, and the moose really couldnt care less. He just kept feeding. Shot by my friend Ruth in 2007 during our two week stay in the Park.

01/30/2012 10:04 PM here Canoe Lake Trip'n Algonquin Park
This interactive video takes the viewer to what one may experience during a weekend canoe trip in the Canoe Lake area of Algonquin. We visit the old logging town of Mowat and the original grave site of famed Canadian artist Tom Thomson, ponder upon his life and the mystery surrounding his death in 1917. In another location on the lake, we see his cairn and totem pole with a clickable link where you can view his renderings of nature landscape paintings and portraits. Also much wildlife along the way. Portaging and paddling north to the Joe Lake Cliffs for airborne adventure. Set up camp and exploring life in the forests, waters and sky that surround. Relaxing by crackling fire in the eve of a song sung night. This is the land of the wild and free, where the heart beats to the rhythm of a timeless loom. Photography and Production by 'sanc61'. 01/07/2012 02:10 PM here Wading Joe Creek from Baby Joe Lake through Lost Joe Lake
Coming back from Burnt Island Lake to our campsite on Joe Lake we took the option of wading down Joe Creek rather than portaging from Baby Joe Lake to where the creek opens up again. Following the creek takes you through Lost Joe Lake on the way. To see the full trip report from this canoe trip to Joe Lake in Algonquin, check out: www.loonislandoutdoors.com
